We’re recruiting for a QA/QC Engineer (Joinery & Fit‑out) who will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout all construction projects. This role plays a vital part in upholding the company's reputation for excellence and ensuring that projects are completed successfully, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continually refine QA/QC plans for construction projects, incorporating thorough inspection and testing protocols.
 
- Conduct regular on‑site inspections and audits to verify compliance with established quality standards and project specifications.
 
- Scrutinise construction documentation, blueprints, and specifications to proactively identify and resolve potential quality challenges.
 
- Collaborate with project teams to promptly address quality‑related issues and offer technical expertise.
 
- Regularly report on QA/QC progress to project stakeholders and provide insights to improve processes.
 
- Ensure that all construction materials and equipment meet the requisite quality standards and certifications.
 
- Execute inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components, and systems.
 
- Maintain meticulous records of all QA/QC activities and generate comprehensive reports as needed.
 
- Organise and deliver training sessions to educate construction teams on QA/QC best practices.
 
- Engage in both internal and external quality audits and assessments.
 
- Stay abreast of industry developments and regulations pertinent to quality assurance and control.

Minimum Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
 
Minimum Experience:
- 3‑5 years of relevant UAE experience in the joinery industry and fit‑out industry.
 
- A UAE driving licence will be advantageous.
 
Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications:
- Proficiency in construction codes, standards, and regulations.
 
- Strong command of quality control and quality assurance processes.
 
- In‑depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and practices.
 
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
 
- Competence in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
 
- Familiarity with testing and inspection procedures for construction materials and systems.
 
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are advantageous.
 
- Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.
