Job description

Our client is a well-established system integrator based in Abu Dhabi, specializing in ELV and Physical Security Solutions for over a decade. The company delivers end-to-end integrated security systems including CCTV, access control, perimeter intrusion detection, command & control centers, video analytics, and other critical infrastructure protection solutions.

Responsibilities
1. Site Survey & Risk Assessment
  • Conduct detailed site surveys to evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and environmental conditions.
  • Identify critical assets, access points, perimeters, and high-risk zones.
  • Perform risk and threat assessments aligned with national security standards and client requirements.
  • Document findings in survey reports with recommendations.
2. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Meet with clients, operators, and security authorities to capture operational needs.
  • Translate security risks into technical and design requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, defense/security authority guidelines, and international standards.
3. Security System Design
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for integrated security systems, including:
    • CCTV & video analytics
    • Access control systems
    • Perimeter intrusion detection (rad, fence sensors, thermal imaging, etc.)
    • Command & Control / Security Operations Center (SOC) layouts
  • Prepare schematics, block diagrams, and layout drawings.
4. Standards & Compliance
  • Ensure designs comply with international standards and local security mandates.
  • Align designs with critical infrastructure protection (CIP) frameworks.
5. Coordination & Integration
  • Collaborate with civil, electrical, and IT teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to validate design feasibility.
6. Inspection
  • Inspect drawings, documents, and final package to ensure compliance with specifications and standards as per client requirements.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections during design package development at all milestones (30%, 60%, 90%, IFR and IFC).
7. Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze quality trends and propose improvements to processes and deliverables.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work to reduce rework, waste, and defects.
Minimum Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering or related field.
  • 4–10 years of experience in QA/QC within ELV or security systems projects. Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Protection, and Command & Control Systems.
  • Familiarity with ADMCC / SIRA standards preferred.
  • Fluency in English and strong interpersonal skills.
