Job summary

A leading pipeline services provider in the UAE is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to design and implement a Quality & HSE Management System. Candidates should have a background in Mechanical Engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and hold necessary qualifications like ISO certifications and NDT Level 2. This role demands good communication, multitasking capabilities, and the ability to work with flexible production environments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in QA/QC.
  • Experience in medium-sized multinational organizations.
  • Candidates from PCB manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Incoming, In process, and Final Controls.
  • Report rejections to Quality Manager.
  • Implement applicable standards and review QMS documentation.

Job description

PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer who will be in charge with the design and implementation of the Quality & HSE Management System.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Perform the Quality Incoming, In process, Final Controls on the respected sections
  • Report to Quality Manager in case of any rejections found
  • Stop the activity in the respective section if the process violation was found and report to the Production Director and Quality Manager
  • As a member of the QHSE Team, support in defining policies & strategies for the QMS
  • Participate in the External and Internal Audits from different 3rd parties
  • Timely review the required QMS documentation as per the QMS requirements
  • Implementing all applicable standards
  • Follow up on the found Non-conformities in the CAR process
  • Control the submitted evidences of the corrective actions taken against the non-conformities and report to Quality Manager
Skills / Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, and worked in medium-size multi-national organization (between 200 to 500 people).
  • Experience in QA and QC in companies that have non-standard production/assembly lines and that had to be very flexible in meeting all client’s requirements.
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering.
  • With some international exposure.
  • Candidates from PCB manufacturing industry with major in electronics engineering who is familiar with soldering quality, connectors, knowledge of electronics components and testing products.
  • Internal Auditor certificate ISO 9001, 14001 and all relevant Quality Certification.
  • NDT Level 2 Qualification.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
  • Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
  • Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
  • Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
