Job summary

Amzone International in SAIF Zone, Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a QA/QC Officer / Engineer to strengthen our quality, inspection, testing and documentation processes in a safety-critical lifting and rigging environment.

You will conduct inspections, verify WLL/SWL, coordinate testing with labs, maintain records and support ISO 9001 audits while collaborating with production, procurement, HSE and dispatch teams. This role offers hands-on variety across materials, equipment and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or related engineering discipline
• 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, fabrication, lifting, rigging, construction, energy-related environments
• Hands-on experience in inspection, testing and quality documentation
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience with NCR management, corrective actions and supplier documentation
• Ability to understand drawings, technical specifications and inspection requirements
• Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections of materials, products and assemblies
• Inspect lifting and rigging products including wire ropes, slings, shackles, lifting accessories, sockets, webbing and chain slings
• Verify dimensions, markings, WLL/SWL, identification tags, batch details, heat numbers and certificates
• Coordinate testing and inspections with internal teams, clients, third-party inspectors and laboratories
• Review inspection reports, test certificates and conformity documentation
• Maintain product traceability, inspection records, calibration records and quality documentation
• Raise and track NCRs and coordinate corrective/preventive actions
• Support ISO 9001 quality systems, internal/customer/third-party audits and continuous improvement
• Work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, HSE, project and dispatch teams
• Identify quality risks and ensure products meet technical, customer and regulatory requirements

This is more than a routine inspection role. You will work in a safety-critical industry, gaining hands-on exposure to lifting and rigging solutions while contributing to quality systems, product compliance, certification and customer requirements.

What you will do

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification
• QA/QC, NDT, welding inspection, lifting inspection or material-testing certifications
• Exposure to Energy / Oil & Gas projects or customer requirements
