We are now seeking a QAQC Engineer to join our team. This critical role involves facilitating best practices related to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites before construction activities commence.
• Review contractors' quality and testing submissions for contract compliance.
• Participate in and contribute to contractor QA/QC meetings.
• Assist in reviews of the Quality Management System.
• Conduct training sessions.
• Report on quality performance during construction meetings.
• Coordinate with the client’s QA/QC representative for feedback.
• Address and close all complaints.
• Provide guidance and information to engineering staff on quality issues.
• Monitor the closure of non-conformances with engineering staff.
• Develop and execute an QA/QC audit schedule, including audits of contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors if applicable.
• Verify all works are conducted according to approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records.
• Review contractor’s monthly QA/QC reports.
• Assess contractor submittals from a QA perspective.
• Ensure contractors perform all tests as per specifications.
• Perform other duties relevant to the role.
• Support external communications systems to maximize their effectiveness.
• Supervise construction projects within established operational systems.
• Follow HSE policies to identify and mitigate environmental and safety risks, instruct teams in safe working methods, and escalate serious issues.
• Assign short-term work schedules to achieve project goals within timelines.
• Communicate the local action plan, aligning it with organizational strategy and motivating the team.
• Manage personal and team performance, providing coaching and feedback for improvement.
• Develop organizational capability through coaching and training.
• Plan and oversee testing and inspection of products and processes, implementing corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in managing client and customer relationships using relevant systems.
