Job summary

GEMS World Academy–Dubai seeks an innovative PYP Cover Teacher (Early Years-Grade 5) to join our Primary team, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will be aligned with the IB philosophy and Learner Profile, with experience in PYP and/or Early Childhood Education, and a passion for teaching within our diverse community.

We require UAE residency or current UAE visa status and a credential such as B.Ed, PGCE or PGDE.

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years varied and demonstrable teaching experience in Primary School, ideally within an IB curriculum school.

THE ACADEMY

GEMS World Academy–Dubai (GWA) is a private, co-educational IB World School for PreK to Grade 12 students, established in 2008 as part of GEMS Education. THE ROLE

We are now looking for an innovative PYP Cover Teacher (Early Years-Grade 5) to join this successful team, beginning immediately.

The ideal candidate will have experience of the PYP Programme and/or Early Childhood Education. Genuine alignment with the philosophy of the IB and the values embodied in the Learner Profile are essential, as is a passion for working in our truly diverse community.

• The ideal candidate will already be located in the UAE and have their own visa.

SKILLS

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years varied and demonstrable teaching experience in Primary School, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however this is not mandatory
