Overview

Al Jazira Club is looking for a dedicated Purchasing Executive to join our Procurement Department. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, accurate financial data, and high-quality supplier relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Request and evaluate bids from suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget.
  • Issue purchase orders and manage all necessary documentation and approvals.
  • Receive, inspect, and deliver ordered items while ensuring quality and quantity standards.
  • Follow up on invoices, update supplier databases, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive offers that best serve the company’s needs.
  • Recommend new products/services aligned with market trends.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Operations Manager and procurement team to ensure compliance with policies and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with knowledge of vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
