Overview
Al Jazira Club is looking for a dedicated Purchasing Executive to join our Procurement Department. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, accurate financial data, and high-quality supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Request and evaluate bids from suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and budget.
- Issue purchase orders and manage all necessary documentation and approvals.
- Receive, inspect, and deliver ordered items while ensuring quality and quantity standards.
- Follow up on invoices, update supplier databases, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive offers that best serve the company’s needs.
- Recommend new products/services aligned with market trends.
- Work closely with the Procurement Operations Manager and procurement team to ensure compliance with policies and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills with knowledge of vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
