Job description
Role Overview:

We are seeking a well-organized and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to handle all government-related documentation and ensure smooth coordination with regulatory authorities for a group of companies operating across Dubai Mainland and Free Zones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing visa processes, license renewals, labor and immigration procedures, and other PRO functions to support seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Government Relations:
  • Manage all new visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and amendments for employees across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Human Resources (MOHRE), and GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs).
  • Prepare and process company license renewals, establishment card renewals, and related documentation for both Dubai Mainland (DED) and Meydan Free Zone.
  • Handle attestation of documents and coordinate with various ministries and embassies as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor, immigration, and free zone regulations.
Document Handling & Coordination:
  • Maintain accurate records of employee documents, visas, labor cards, Emirates IDs, and health insurance.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of all PRO-related applications and approvals.
  • Coordinate with HR for onboarding and offboarding of employees from a PRO standpoint.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of all company-related documents for tenancy contracts, Ejari, civil defense certificates, and trade license updates.
  • Manage traffic fines, vehicle registration/renewals, and other related government transactions.
Communication & Support:
  • Act as the primary point of contact with government departments and free zone authorities.
  • Advise management on legal changes or procedural updates that may impact business operations.
  • Support company events, audits, and inspections requiring government documentation or approvals.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed within required timelines to avoid penalties or legal delays.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE (minimum 3–5 years) with hands-on experience in Mainland and Free Zone (Meydan preferred) processes.
  • Strong understanding of UAE Labor Law, visa, and immigration procedures.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and government department contacts/network.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure situations.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with government portals (e.g., MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Meydan FZ portal).
