Job summary

Viola Communications is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bilingual PR Manager (Arabic / English) to join our Public Relations unit in Dubai. You will manage day-to-day communications, media relations, content, and programme delivery for a major client, working closely with the client and agency teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of PR/communications, UAE experience, native Arabic, fluent English, and proven media relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 6+ years in PR/communications with UAE experience (2+ years in UAE).
• Native or near-native Arabic with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Fluent English with strong editing capabilities.
• Experience with government entities or large corporate comms teams.
• Strong media relations handling media enquiries, interviews, and briefings.
• Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail.
• Calm, organized, deadline-driven with strong stakeholder coordination.

Viola Communications is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bilingual PR Manager (Arabic / English) to join our Public Relations unit. This role will support a major communications programme, working closely with the client and the wider agency team to manage day-to-day communications, media relations, content, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong PR and communications experience within the UAE, excellent bilingual writing and editorial capabilities, and experience working with or alongside government entities or large corporate organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of the communications programme from the client’s offices, ensuring smooth coordination between the client and agency teams.
• Identify relevant topics, stories, and media angles that support the client’s communications objectives.
• Review and oversee Arabic and English content prior to publication, ensuring accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment with communications objectives.
• Manage incoming media enquiries and coordinate interviews, briefings, and other media engagement opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media and key stakeholders.
• Oversee and coordinate the wider agency team supporting the programme, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date media databases, coverage records, and communications materials.
• Prepare and maintain monthly reports, providing clear visibility on communications activities, media coverage, and programme progress.
• Work closely with the client team to manage priorities, deadlines, and evolving communications requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, including at least 2 years of experience in the UAE.
• Native or near-native Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent professional English, with strong written and editorial capabilities.
• Previous experience working within, or closely alongside, a government entity or large corporate communications team.
• Strong media relations experience, including handling media enquiries, interviews, and briefings.
• Excellent editorial judgement with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and solutions-focused while working under tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and team coordination skills.
