Stantec is currently looking for a Public Relation Coordinator (UAE National) to join our dynamic team in Dubai.

The PR Coordinators shall be responsible for managing all internal and external communication in full alignment with Dubai Municipality regulations and the Sewerage and Recycled Water Projects Department (SRPD) directions. The duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following :

  • Establishing and maintaining a complaint tracking system to record, monitor, and follow up on all complaints received from stakeholders and residents.
  • Coordinating with contractors, consultants, DM representatives, and relevant authorities to ensure that all complaints are addressed and resolved within agreed timeframes.
  • Conducting periodic resident satisfaction surveys to measure service quality and ensure continuous improvement of the supervision activities.
  • Preparing regular reports to SRPD management on complaints status, resolution performance, and resident satisfaction levels.
  • Acting as the main focal point for all public relations, community engagement, and awareness campaigns related to the projects.
  • Ensuring that all communication activities strictly comply with DM standards, policies, and cultural requirements.

Representing the project teams in a professional manner, maintaining a high standard of presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, or stakeholder management, preferably within infrastructure, utilities, or governmental projects.
  • UAE National, with a strong understanding of local culture, norms, and regulatory framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage community relations, handle complaints effectively, and engage with multistakeholder environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prepare reports, presentations, and public facing communication materials.
  • Professional, well-presented, and capable of dealing with residents and senior officials in a diplomatic and effective manner.
