Job summary

A leading hotel chain in the UAE seeks a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain cleanliness in public areas and guest spaces. Responsibilities include cleaning, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. Ideal candidates have previous housekeeping experience and strong attention to detail. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned public areas including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, staircases, and other common spaces.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Replenish supplies such as tissue, hand towels, soap, and air fresheners in public restrooms.
  • Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of correctly and efficiently.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor promptly.
  • Respond courteously to guest requests and report any guest feedback or complaints to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely and properly.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
  • Support the housekeeping team in setting up for special events or deep cleaning projects when required.
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and hygiene standards, including health and safety regulations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and service at all times.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience an advantage).
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
