Job summary

Aldar Education in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Psychology Teacher for a full-time, on-site role starting January 2027. You will deliver engaging Psychology lessons with clear objectives, design appropriately challenging lessons, and assess student progress with differentiated instruction.

The successful candidate will monitor achievement, contribute to subject development and support the school’s broader academic vision, including safeguarding and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent with teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Psychology up to GCSE/A Level is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment that supports high-quality learning and teaching.
• Establish clear teaching objectives and determine how learning will be delivered and assessed.
• Plan Psychology lessons with appropriate structure, pace, motivation and challenge.
• Set tasks that maintain student interest and provide suitable academic challenge.
• Establish clear and demanding expectations based on students' prior attainment.
• Set measurable learning targets and monitor progress against them.
