Job summary

International Community Schools (ICS) in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated High School Psychology teacher to deliver engaging lessons aligned with American curriculum standards. You will foster critical thinking, monitor progress using data, and support differentiated instruction in a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Psychology, 2–3 years of high school teaching experience, a valid Secondary Education license, and proficiency with LMS/educational technology;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology
• Minimum of 2–3 years of full-time high school Psychology teaching
• Experience teaching the American curriculum and US standards
• Valid teaching license/certification in Secondary Education
• Proficiency in educational technology and LMS
• Ability to meet UAE visa requirements and pass background checks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a closely related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in Psychology at the high school level
• Demonstrated experience teaching the American curriculum and US standards
• Valid professional teaching license/certification in Secondary Education
• Proficiency in educational technology and Learning Management Systems
• Ability to meet UAE visa requirements and pass criminal background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology or Education
• Experience with the Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology curriculum
• Previous experience in an international school setting, particularly in the UAE or Middle East
