Job summary
A healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to conduct assessments and provide counseling. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and collaborating with other professionals. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and 2-4 years of experience. Preference is given to UAE Nationals.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Preferred UAE National.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling using evidence-based approaches.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide individual, group, and / or family counseling using evidence-based approaches.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Monitor client progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain clinical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, or social workers for holistic care.
- Handle crisis interventions and refer clients to additional resources when necessary.
- Maintain ethical and legal standards in all aspects of service delivery.
- Stay current with psychological research and continue professional development.
- Educate clients and families on mental health, coping mechanisms, and treatment options.
