Geotab Inc. is seeking an Integration Hardware Developer to act as Hardware Subject Matter Expert, supporting new assets and third-party devices that connect to Geotab’s fleet platform.

You will define requirements for hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams and lead pilot installations for new integrations. Responsibilities include designing harnesses, enclosures, and toolings, assembling and testing units, and reverse engineering CAN, RS-232, RS-485, and other protocols.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on hardware experience with vehicle systems and sensors is required.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware and electrical domains.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Aufgaben

• Build in-house proofs of concept and define requirements for Hardware, Firmware, and Mechanical teams.
• Lead pilot installations for new asset integrations and provide technical support.
• Design and prototype harnesses, enclosures, and toolings; assemble and test units.
• Reverse engineer electrical, hardware and communications systems and protocols.
