Geotab, a global IoT leader, seeks an Integration Hardware Developer to serve as hardware SME, connecting new assets to Geotab platforms. You will collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Mechanical teams and external OEMs to design and test new vehicle integrations.

Youhybrid work in a dynamic environment, balancing hands-on problem solving with analytical tasks and travel up to 25%. Strong English communication and PCB/harness design experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware integration experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to define requirements for hardware, firmware and mechanical engineering teams.
• Experience prototyping harnesses, enclosures and tooling.
• Ability to reverse engineer electrical, hardware and communications systems.
• Strong documentation and field data collection skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% globally.

Responsabilités

• Build in-house proofs of concept and define requirements for Hardware, Firmware, and Mechanical teams.
• Lead pilot installations for new asset integrations and provide technical support.
• Design prototype harnesses, enclosures, and toolings; assemble and test units.
• Reverse engineer systems and protocols including CAN, ISO9141, VPW, RS-232/485.
• Collaborate with OEMs and diagnose third-party device behaviour issues.
• Study field equipment, maintain legacy products, and support global initiatives.
