Job summary
SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Protection Engineer to coordinate and review protection systems for transmission infrastructure. You will work on protection philosophies, schematics, settings, and interfaces with substations and telecom systems, ensuring readiness for testing and commissioning.
Ideal candidates will have strong protection engineering experience in high‑voltage transmission or substations, with familiarity in EPC protection designs and final documentation reviews.
Qualifications
- Experience in protection for high‑voltage transmission or substations.
- Experience reviewing EPC protection designs.
- Knowledge of protection philosophies and relay schemes.
- Testing and commissioning experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review protection philosophies and designs.
- Review protection schematics, settings and technical submissions.
- Coordinate protection interfaces with substations, SCMS and telecom systems.
- Review design changes and technical queries.
- Support testing and commissioning readiness.
- Review as‑built and final technical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary engineering reviews.
- Strong protection engineering experience in HV transmission or substations.
- Experience reviewing EPC protection designs.
- Knowledge of protection philosophies, relay schemes and system interfaces.
