Job summary

KONE UAE invites a CSE Engineer (Project) to apply. You will translate customer needs into product-specific requirements and coordinate all engineering work until handover to maintenance, covering elevators, escalators and autowalks in complex projects.

You will support the FL CSE field operation and sales in delivery, handle orders, ensure codes and safety standards, and work with global teams across time zones. Diploma in engineering and 5 years in the elevator industry preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical and Civil Engineering
• Minimum five years of experience in Elevator Industry and AutoCAD
• Proficient with MS Office Word Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English language skills
• Excellent collaboration skills and capability to teamwork with people from different cultural backgrounds
• Capability for analytical thinking and focus on details
• Ability to work with global colleagues considering different time zones language competences and differences in working culture
• Excellent technical understanding of elevator, escalator and Advanced People Flow solutions that meet the customer expectations is considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with sales: find the optimal KONE product to meet non-standard requirements; select the correct product platform and ensure the offer is competitive
• Costing: understand materials and service costs for products, ensure correct costings in non-standard cases
• Specs: create detailed non-standard product plans and specifications for corporate and local materials
• Energy calculations: perform initial and revised non-standard energy calculations
• Site surveys: accountable for technical site surveys and content of orders
• Lead times: coordinate product lead times from Supply Line and local sourcing
• Installability: ensure proposed product can be installed and costs of installation are considered
• Maintainability and compliance: ensure product lifecycle needs met and compliance with codes, safety and environmental regulations
• KONE processes: provide content for pre-booking reviews and support holistic product planning
• Delivery process: provide layouts, change analysis, ordering details, and information to project team; share knowledge with maintenance
