About the job Project Manager / Scrum Master
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead strategic initiatives within our Technology department. This dual-role position involves overseeing full project lifecycles from initiation to delivery while also driving Agile methodologies to support high-performing development teams. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution, continuous improvement, and alignment with business goals. This role is essential to maintaining momentum across projects in a fast‑paced, fintech‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of strategic projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, product owners, and other departments to maintain clear and effective communication.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Track and report on project progress using tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members on Agile best practices and principles.
- Drive process enhancements and promote Agile maturity within the organization.
- Ensure the removal of project impediments to keep teams on track and aligned with project goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 58 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in Quality Assurance and Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience in the fintech or banking industry.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.
- Proficiency with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and quality assurance principles.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
