Job summary

Trevi Group in the UAE seeks an experienced Project Manager Civil Engineering to lead drilling and grouting projects, overseeing mobilization, resources and execution strategies on site. You will coordinate with clients, consultants and internal teams to meet technical specs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 12–15 years in drilling and grouting, with geotechnical/foundation project exposure.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of drilling and grouting experience.
• Experience in geotechnical or foundation projects.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and grouting methods.
• Experience in planning, cost control and contract management.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and standards.
• PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage drilling and grouting projects, ensuring timely delivery.

Activities

• Lead and manage drilling and grouting projects, including anchors, micropiles, and ground improvement works, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Plan, organize, and oversee all site operations, including mobilization, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and technical specifications are met.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals related to drilling and grouting activities.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and control expenditures to maintain profitability.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work quality and adherence to contractual terms.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and commercial risks.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Handle contractual matters, including variations, claims, and extensions of time.
• Support tendering and business development activities by providing technical input and project planning expertise.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all project activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in drilling and grouting works, including anchors and micropiles.
• Proven experience in managing geotechnical or foundation engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, grouting methods, and ground engineering practices.
• Experience in project planning, cost control, and contract management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, MS Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations, codes, and standards in the UAE.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP) is an advantage.
