Job summary

The role requires a Civil/Structural background, 5+ years in construction PM, and familiarity with structural steel fabrication and erection. UAE driving license is mandatory and coordination with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with steel structure projects.
• Experience with steel fabrication and erection for industrial, commercial, or warehouse projects.
• Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality/safety management.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of steel structure construction projects from planning to close-out.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee fabrication, transportation, and site erection activities.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and quality; lead site meetings and provide progress reports.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and inspection reports.
• Manage procurement activities and supervise project staff and subcontractors.

The candidate should have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of steel structure construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee structural steel fabrication, transportation, and site erection activities.
• Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost forecasts.
• Lead site meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and inspection reports.
• Manage procurement activities and coordinate material deliveries.
• Supervise project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, 5 years managing steel structure projects.
• Experience in structural steel fabrication and erection for industrial, commercial, warehouse, or high-rise projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Experience with quality control and safety management systems.
• Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
