Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW), headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a fast‑growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with a portfolio that includes 13 GW of power generation (CCGT, cogeneration, gas‑fired, and solar) and a water capacity of 1,300,000 m³/day of desalination plants, water pipelines, transmission and industrial water treatment projects.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of projects and ensure full completion safely within budget, within schedule and in full compliance with engineering, quality, HSSE and regulatory standards.
- Manage the owner’s engineer team, EPC contractors, vendors and stakeholders through all phases from engineering to commissioning and support operations post‑handover.
- Responsible for development and EPC execution of new 2. 6 GW CCGT project.
- Control and maintain the project execution plan.
- Ensure projects are executed according to project standards (e.g. project management procedures, QA/QC standards, HSSE standards, engineering standards as per the PPA and EPC contract), agreed contractual schedule, contract specification and budget, minimizing VOs claims.
- Work closely with internal and external parties for any tie‑in to existing plant to avoid any unplanned plant shutdown.
- Lead review of MSRA for PTW (Permit to Work) system.
- Lead weekly and monthly progress meetings, provide updates and report to Project Management Head and higher management.
- Coordinate with O&M, customers and EPC contractor/vendor for all project execution and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper document control; keep project documents ready for archival upon completion.
- Ensure all project documents (especially as‑built drawings) are properly archived in the Digital Technical Library.
- Obtain all necessary licenses and permits required by government authorities before plant construction and after completion.
- Continue to support O&M after plant handover and close out any outstanding issues arising during the project execution phase.
- Participate in review on inter‑disciplinary design, engineering and constructability to consider safety, quality, performance, reliability, flexibility of operation and optimal project and life‑cycle cost.
- Project costing, scheduling and management of relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Manage the tender process and assessment for EPC contractors, surveys and studies.
- Develop value engineering and strategic plans to keep CAPEX competitive, sustainable and aligned with company business and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project management of CCGT projects, power and utilities projects.
- Strong leadership presence, interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate between O&M, customers, contractors and internal departments.
- Decisive and solution‑oriented to resolve project issues promptly.
- Attention to detail for documentation and quality management.
- Committed to upholding high safety standards in high‑risk environments.
- Good analytical skills in analyzing project management issues and ability to resolve them quickly.
- Good understanding of gas power, utilities and water processes.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, IEEE, rules and regulations is an advantage.
