Job summary

Fimple, a product company, invites an experienced Project Manager to the UAE to oversee international banking and fintech projects. The role requires excellent English, strong project management background, and knowledge of banking processes.

You will work closely with international customers, internal teams, technology partners and vendors to drive projects from initiation through go-live in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (CS/Engineering/IT/MIS/Business Admin).
• 5+ years of project management experience delivering technology/implementation projects.
• Experience in banking/financial services/fintech or banking tech.
• Solid understanding of banking products and processes.
• End-to-end software implementation or tech project management.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing and release processes.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid PM methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, tech, customers, vendors.
• Excellent English communication; capable of leading meetings with international stakeholders.
• Experience with geographically distributed teams across countries/time zones.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2/ PMI-ACP/PSM) are a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally; UAE residency preferred or relocation possible.
• Experience with UAE GCC banking/regulatory context is a plus.

• Lead and manage end-to-end international projects from initiation to go-live.
• Define and maintain project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, resources and delivery plans.
• Develop detailed project plans meeting scope, timeline, budget and quality expectations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Development, QA and Infrastructure.
• Act as main liaison between Fimple, customers, vendors and external stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager at UAE to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering international projects. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent English language skills, a strong background in project management, and knowledge of the banking industry. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing complex projects and capable of working in an international environment.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our PMO team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of international banking and financial technology projects.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on project management experience with solid knowledge of banking products and processes and is comfortable working at the intersection of business, technology, product and delivery teams.

You will work closely with international banking customers, internal teams, technology partners and third-party vendors to drive projects from initiation through implementation and go-live.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, excellent English, structured project management capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.

Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred, and Arabic language skills (spoken and written) are an advantage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering technology, software or implementation projects.

• Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech or banking technology.

• Solid understanding of banking products, business processes and financial services.

• Experience managing software implementation or technology projects end-to-end.

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing and release processes.

• Practical knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Strong experience in stakeholder management, including business teams, technology teams, customers and external vendors.

• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks and issues.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders across different countries and time zones.

• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, PSM or equivalent project management certification is a strong plus.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally based on project and customer requirements.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred; candidates willing to relocate to the UAE may also be considered.

• Experience working with Arabic-speaking clients or multicultural teams in the GCC is an advantage.

• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, Central Bank requirements, payments, compliance or regulatory reporting is a plus.

• UAE or GCC banking experience is a strong advantage, particularly experience working with local financial institutions.
