Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Project Manager to lead Wellhead and Skids Solutions projects, overseeing Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels and Pressure Regulation Systems for safe and efficient oil, gas and utilities operations.

The role emphasizes detailed planning, risk management, and strong collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Quality and HSE teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 12–15 years of overall professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or project execution environments.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience, handling modular skid projects and large-scale fabrication/manufacturing projects.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the UAE and familiarity with the local project execution, manufacturing and business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, resource management and project information management systems.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing detailed project and manufacturing execution plans.
  • Experience optimizing manufacturing and project execution processes for large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budget, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project and fabrication plans including resources, milestones, and execution requirements.
  • Plan and manage fabrication activities in line with specifications, drawings, schedules and quality requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, progress and resource utilization to adhere to budget.
  • Establish project execution plans, schedules and priorities with stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, cost overruns, schedule delays, and resource constraints early and plan mitigations.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Quality, HSE and other stakeholders for timely delivery.
  • Track milestones and deliverables; resolve issues affecting progress.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specs, quality requirements, HSE procedures and contractual obligations.
  • Support project close-out: documentation, punch-list clearance, handover and lessons learned.

This role is pivotal in supporting Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to enhance the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas systems. What You'll Lead And Deliver
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget, agreed quality standards, and defined timelines.
  • Develop detailed project and fabrication plans at a granular level, covering resources, activities, milestones, deliverables, and execution requirements.
  • Plan and manage fabrication activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, progress, and resource utilization to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Establish project execution plans, schedules, milestones, and priorities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks, cost overruns, schedule delays, resource constraints, and quality issues at an early stage.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project impact.
  • Coordinate fabrication and project execution activities to ensure alignment with approved plans and project requirements.
  • Regularly review project progress against planned cost, quality, and schedule targets and take corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure effective coordination between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Quality, HSE, and other project stakeholders for timely project delivery.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables and ensure timely resolution of issues affecting project progress.
  • Review project requirements, specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure proper execution and compliance.
  • Ensure that fabrication and site execution activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and other project requirements.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify deviations from the approved project plan and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, cost reports, schedules, and other project records.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate project status, risks, challenges, and recovery actions to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, project specifications, quality requirements, HSE procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Support project close-out activities, including completion of documentation, punch-list clearance, handover, and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 12–15 years of overall professional experience, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or project execution environments.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience, specifically handling modular skid projects and large-scale fabrication/manufacturing projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the UAE, with strong familiarity with the local project execution, manufacturing, and business environment.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, resource management, process optimization, and project information management systems.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing detailed project and manufacturing execution plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and optimizing manufacturing and project execution processes for large-scale manufacturing and fabrication operations.
  • Strong understanding of project risk management, including risk identification, mitigation strategies, contingency planning, and corrective actions.
  • Excellent vendor and subcontractor management skills, with the ability to evaluate performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Strong customer-centric approach with proven experience managing and coordinating with international and global customers.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project objectives.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, supported by analytical thinking, sound judgment, practical experience, and business understanding.
