Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain project and quality plans and conduct the project accordingly.
• Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Ensure the project is delivered within budget, on schedule and within scope.
• Establish effective and appropriate project governance for the project
• Actively manages project end-to-end, adhering to standard project management methodology.
• Manage the project staff and other resources assigned to the project. Report effectively on project progress, problems encountered and their solutions using weekly/monthly project status reports and ad-hoc reports as appropriate.
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Build good relationships with clients.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly and transparently.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Track project milestones and deliverables
• Ensure proper financial management of the project including tracking planned hour variances and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Control project financials through an effective change control process and efficient resource management
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Develop or enhance best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Prepare monthly revenue forecasts within defined timescales.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of end-to-end Project Management experience
• Arabic speaking is a must
• Experience must be with customer-facing projects and not internal to the organisation
• Experience in both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Experience with project management techniques and toolsCustomer driven and had the ability to work within a team environment
• Direct work experience in a project management capacity. Previous experience successfully leading large scale innovation, growth and continuous improvement projects in a service environment.
• Experience in banking-related projects is a must.
• Effectively deals with work-related problems, pressure and stress professionally and positively; recovers quickly when faced with obstacles or setbacks.
