Job summary

Siemens Energy in the UAE is seeking a Project Manager to lead turnkey EPC power transmission projects across multiple phases, from sales handover to FAC. You will shape delivery for the UAE energy transition, coordinating customers, suppliers and consortium partners.

The role demands a PM certified in PMP/IPMA, 5+ years in large-scale projects within MENA, strong planning, contract and risk skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with PMP/IPMA or equivalent.
5+ years managing medium-to-large scale EPC projects in MENA utilities or Power Transmission.
Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, contract, risk and schedule control.
Experience with HV equipment maintenance including GIS, transformers, protection systems.
Excellent communication and leadership for international teams; budget & EHS focus.
Fluent English; valid driving license and own transport; international experience a plus.

As a Project Manager you will be running turnkey Power Transmission projects in parallel across different phases of their lifecycle. Your work directly determines how reliably we deliver the infrastructure powering the UAE's energy transition, shaping outcomes for customers, consortium partners, and the communities that depend on stable power.

How You'll Make An Impact

Lead turnkey EPC projects from sales handover and initiation through execution to Final Acceptance (FAC), ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget stay on track throughout.
Establish and maintain the Project Management Plan, leading milestone management and KPI monitoring to catch and address deviations early.
Assess technical, commercial, and contractual feasibility, and handle risks, claims, change requests, and contract adjustments professionally while protecting the organization from liability.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and consortium partners, managing expectations and resolving issues as they arise.
Inspire cross-functional teams to achieve safety, timeline, cost, and quality goals, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
Uphold EHS, quality, and Siemens Energy Business Conduct Guidelines, and lead lessons-learned sessions to strengthen future project delivery.

What You Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with a PMP, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification.
A minimum of 5 years' experience managing medium-to-large scale projects with utilities or EPCs within the MENA region, preferably in the Power Transmission industry.
Solid grounding in project management methodologies, contract management, risk and opportunity management, and project planning and controlling.
Working knowledge of High/Medium Voltage equipment maintenance, including GIS, transformers, and control and protection systems, along with experience in outage planning and execution at power stations or plants.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities suited to international, intercultural teams, with a commercially minded approach to managing budgets, schedules, quality, and EHS requirements.
Fluent English (oral and written), a valid driving license with own transportation, and a preference for candidates with prior experience working in an international environment.
