Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manages day‑to‑day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
- Minimizes exposure risk by managing scope and project budget.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Tracks, follows up, and reports team activity on a weekly basis.
- Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables.
- Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Handles business process re‑engineering and performance development.
- Develops the PMP, including leading and executing the Change Control procedure, Risk and Opportunity Register, Quality Plan, Project Schedule, Project communication Plan, Stakeholder register, Lessons learned, and Project close‑out in alignment with SE CPP.
Specific Tasks May Include:
- Team resource allocation during the project life cycle from bidding to closing, balancing workload based on experience and skills.
- Leads the project team in developing and managing the Project Management plan within constraints approved by the Sponsor.
- Applies professional project management according to PMI principles.
- Manages integrated solutions to meet cost, schedule, scope, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Controls and monitors risk, providing risk analysis and response plans.
- Maintains excellent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Negotiates with internal and external suppliers to secure resources.
- Ensures alignment with Schneider business strategy and delivers results that meet quality, reliability, and cash‑flow targets.
- Implements and enforces change control across scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
- Manages sub‑contract packages and coordinates with support functions, suppliers, and customers.
- Runs monthly forecast updates for sales, margin, risks, payments, and billing.
- Provides first‑level technical support to sales teams and customers.
- Oversees execution from start‑up to final factory acceptance test (FAT), including fabrication, commissioning, and site services.
About You
- Extensive travel outside the home area to sites as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on control systems.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management of solution and oil & gas projects.
- Excellent working knowledge of the technical and organisational environments in which deliverables are created.
- Strong communication and leadership, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, geographically distributed environment.
- Must obtain necessary travel clearances (passport, security clearance, visa, background and credit checks).
Skills
- Experience managing construction‑type solution projects.
- Oil & Gas background.
- Ability to develop and maintain a project programme/schedule using Microsoft Project.
- Interprets project specifications effectively.
- Excellent communicator, leader, and team builder.
- Commercial awareness with financial control and contract skills.
- Senior‑level stakeholder engagement.
