Job description

Noor Al Sahara is currently seeking a Project HSE Manager with the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent
  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent
  • Internal Lead Auditor
  • 5–10 years of experience
  • Trained in Root Cause Analysis
  • Trained in Incident Investigation
  • Prior client approval preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies aligned with ADNOC standards, local laws, and international best practices (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Identify hazards and assess risks across operations such as Oil & Gas plants, refineries, and construction sites.
  • Implement risk mitigation measures and maintain risk registers.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, ADNOC's codes of practice, and international standards.
  • Lead internal and external HSE audits and manage regulatory inspections.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; develop CAPA plans.
  • Conduct HSE training and promote safety culture through workshops and campaigns like “Goal Zero”.
  • Monitor and report HSE KPIs, and report performance to management regularly.
  • Develop and update Emergency Response Plans.
  • Manage contractor HSE compliance, review plans, method statements, and JSA.
  • Monitor environmental impacts and ensure sustainability targets are achieved.
  • Lead by example to foster a safety-oriented culture, encouraging behaviour-based safety programs.
