Job summary

Arkad SpA in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Project HSE Coordinator to implement HSE systems on EPC/O&G projects. You will report to the HSSE Manager and drive compliance, safety performance, and efficiency across the value chain.

Responsibilities include HSE strategy, client interface, audits, site coordination, and commercial support during bids. UAE-based with a 30-day notice period to align onboarding in mid-October.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HSE engineering experience in EPC/O&G plus 1–2 years of site HSE management.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and related standards.
• Proven track record in conducting HSE audits and managing corrective action plans.
• University degree or technical high school diploma preferred.

• Client & Stakeholder Interface: serve as the primary point of contact for Clients, Subcontractors, and Statutory Auditors regarding project HSE matters.
• Audits & Compliance: plan and execute Project HSE Audits, verify compliance with Company/Client requirements, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Site & Vendor Coordination: coordinate activities with the Site HSE Manager, review/approve HSE documents from technicians, and support vendor qualification processes.
• Commercial Support: assist Sales and Commercial teams during the bid phase to develop Project HSE systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years of HSE Engineering experience in large project businesses (EPC / Oil & Gas), plus 1–2 years of Site HSE Management experience.
• Standards Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001, and relevant technical standards.
• Audit Expertise: Proven track record in conducting HSE audits and managing corrective action plans.
• Education: University Degree or Technical High School Diploma preferred.
• Location & Availability: Currently residing in the UAE with a notice period of 30 days or less (to align with our mid-October onboarding schedule).
