Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a competent Project Engineer MEP to support a major bridge construction project in Dubai. You will manage MEP systems ensuring compliance with project specifications and RTA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of MEP execution experience, strong knowledge of UAE regulations, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Full-time position with no remote work offered.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a competent and detail oriented Project Engineer MEP to support and manage mechanical electrical and plumbing systems within a major bridge construction project in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing MEP works ensuring design and installation are in line with project specifications RTA standards and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan manage and coordinate all MEPrelated activities in the bridge project including lighting power supply drainage pumps fire protection systems and utilities.
• Review and verify MEP design drawings shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and authority standards.
• Supervise and inspect onsite MEP installations to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Coordinate with civil and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Liaise with RTA DEWA Civil Defence and other authorities to secure design approvals inspections and final handovers.
• Monitor subcontractor progress conduct technical evaluations and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Identify and resolve MEPrelated technical issues and interface conflicts onsite.
• Prepare reports on progress nonconformance and inspection outcomes for internal and client review.
• Ensure all installations are compliant with Dubai Municipality codes RTA standards and international best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 57 years of experience in MEP execution with at least 3 years in bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Indepth understanding of MEP systems used in transportation infrastructure especially in bridge lighting drainage and utility coordination.
• Familiarity with RTA DEWA and Civil Defence regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Revit (MEP) and other MEP engineering software.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
