Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a capable Project Engineer to oversee HVAC projects, coordinating customers, engineering teams, suppliers and site personnel to deliver on time and to spec.

You will plan activities, resolve challenges, monitor costs and timelines, and ensure quality and safety standards are met while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• A motivated and well-organized engineering professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with different stakeholders, and maintain a strong focus on project delivery, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Marine HVAC Experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC projects from initial planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and final customer handover.
• Translate project requirements into practical execution plans, setting priorities, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, addressing queries, providing progress updates, and coordinating changes to project requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, site teams, and external contractors to ensure all project activities are aligned.
• Follow up on engineering deliverables, equipment availability, material supplies, and site readiness to keep work progressing as planned.
• Identify potential delays, technical issues, and resource constraints, and coordinate solutions before they affect project delivery.
• Track project expenditure and assess the cost and schedule implications of additional work or changes in scope.
• Ensure project documentation, technical submissions, approvals, and progress records are maintained accurately and updated on time.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and outstanding work items before final acceptance by the customer.
• Provide management with regular updates on project progress, costs, material status, manpower, and key concerns.
• Supervise and support junior engineers and site personnel, ensuring that assigned tasks are completed effectively.
• Review completed projects, gather customer feedback, and identify opportunities to improve future project execution.
• Ensure a smooth project close-out, including final documentation, handover records, and lessons learned.

About the Role

We are seeking a capable and hands-on Project Engineer to oversee HVAC projects, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and site personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and driving project activities, resolving technical and operational challenges, monitoring costs and timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed to the required standards.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, coordinating multiple activities, and building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

What You Will Do
