We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join a leading provider of facade solutions specializing in aluminium and glazing fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing facade projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and milestones; coordinate and manage all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to plans and timelines.
  • Technical Support and Design Review: Provide technical expertise during the design phase, ensuring designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements; review and approve shop drawings and material submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams; ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in fabrication and installation; conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met; identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence; prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and issues.
  • Team Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment; mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and project management issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in the facade, aluminium, and glazing fabrication industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in project management software, CAD, and other relevant technical tools; strong knowledge of aluminium and glazing systems.
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Attributes: Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eligibility: Proven track record of managing facade, aluminium, and glazing projects from design to completion.
  • Location: At least 2 years of work experience in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
