Position Title: Project Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Construction / Site Execution
Reporting to: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team at Meraki Integrated Contracting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting project execution on-site, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery of works in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning & Coordination: Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to understand scope and schedule.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing work programs, procurement schedules, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted progress.
  • Participate in project and coordination meetings and follow up on assigned actions.
  • Site Execution: Supervise daily activities on site to ensure works are executed according to drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and productivity to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify and report deviations, delays, or resource requirements to management.
  • Assist in preparing inspection requests (IRs) and material approval requests (MARs).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, site reports, and work progress records.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly progress updates and dashboards.
  • Support quantity take-offs, cost tracking, and material reconciliation as needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation for site inspections and handover processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in fast-paced environments.
