Job summary

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a Project Engineer with a Civil (preferred) or Mechanical background to support surveying and engineering projects across the UAE. You will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and technical coordination while interfacing with clients and consultants to develop robust proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6–7 years of proven experience in project engineering, preferably in surveying or geospatial sector.
• Demonstrated experience in cost estimation and budgeting.
• Strong background in surveying equipment and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets for survey-related engineering works.
• Assist in preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for pre-qualification, tendering and project development stages.
• Lead site assessments and evaluations, ensuring readiness for survey deployment.
• Supervise deployment and operation of survey equipment, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Manage client acquisition activities, develop relationships and represent the company in meetings and presentations.
• Coordinate internally with technical teams to ensure estimates reflect practical execution requirements.
• Provide support in spatial data analysis, planning, and resource estimation for LiDAR, GPR, and 3D scanning projects.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of survey technologies, methods and tools.

Role Overview

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking a Project Engineer with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Civil preferred) to support our expanding portfolio of surveying and engineering projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation budgeting technical coordination and client interface with a strong understanding of modern survey equipment and technologies including 3D Laser Scanning LiDAR Mapping GPR Surveys Spatial Analysis and Topographic Surveys.

Requirements

• Strong background in surveying equipment and technologies.
• Experience in pre-qualification processes and dealing with clients and consultants.
• Proven ability in client acquisition and business development.
• Hands-on knowledge of 3D Laser Scanning LiDAR GPR Spatial Analysis and Topographic Surveys.
• Valid UAE Driver s License is mandatory.
• Excellent communication in English negotiation and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related industrial required standard tools/software.
