Job summary

Currie & Brown in Al Ain UAE is seeking a Project Director to join our project management team on Aviation/Manufacturing projects. You will lead project definition, delivery plans, budgets and governance to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires extensive experience in data centre projects, PM certification, and proven leadership to drive pre- and post-contract activity, manage client relationships and deliver value to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience of leading Data centre projects.
• PM professional certification (PMP/PRINCE2) or equivalent.
• Proven team leadership capabilities, behaviours and values.
• Experience during both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
• Knowledge of industry best practice.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders.
• Proven ability as a trusted advisor to the client.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and deliverables.
• Establish project delivery plans and control mechanisms to ensure effective delivery.
• Lead the project team and manage performance.
• Work within financial systems to produce plans, schedules and budgets with variances.
• Review and improve project processes using industry best practices.
• Coordinate across the organisation to support collaboration and delivery.
• Advise senior management on progress and risks to ensure delivery aligns with objectives.
• Present project risks or issues with mitigation to senior managers.
