Job summary

Wood in Dubai is seeking a visionary Project Manager to lead large-scale EPC/EPCM programs. You will define objectives, create detailed roadmaps, establish timelines, secure resources, manage budgets, and ensure rigorous governance.

A track record delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget is essential. You will lead diverse teams, drive safety and sustainability, and maintain stakeholder alignment with clients, regulators, and internal leaders.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline (bachelors or masters).
• PMI PMP/APM or equivalent certification preferred.
• 20+ years in project management with 10+ years in leadership on large-scale EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety Management Promote and enforce a strong safety culture ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards and environmental regulations throughout project execution
• Project Management Lead and manage large-scale EPCm projects from initiation to completion ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards and alignment with project goals and objectives
• Develop and implement project plans including scope schedule and resource allocation Monitor project progress and performance identifying and mitigating risks proactively Manage project resources including personnel equipment and materials to optimize project delivery
• Ensure compliance with health safety nbsp EPCm Management Oversee the EPCm operations in the region ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and objectives Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients contractors and regulatory bodies Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EPCm framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Resource Management Recruit train and mentor project teams fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
• Schedule and Budget Management Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets ensuring timely completion of all activities and adherence to cost control measures nbsp
• Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project cost and schedule
• Performance Monitoring Establish key performance indicators KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness providing regular reports to senior management
• Team Leadership Manage and mentor a team professional promoting continuous improvement and professional development
• Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the project duration

Qualifications

• Expected University degree bachelors or masters in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
• Project Management Professional PMP associate in project management APM or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience Minimum of 20 years of experience in project management with at least 10 years in a leadership role on large-scale detailed engineering projects for Saudi Aramco
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present inform and persuade at all levels and externally
