Working in close collaboration with cloud providers, hyperscalers and neoscalers, we deliver integrated infrastructure solutions—from power and cooling systems for AI-driven data centres to advanced HVAC and structurally engineered solutions—enabling performance at scale.

Our business is growing at an accelerated pace, driven by the trust our customers place in our precision engineering and forward-thinking design. With a clear focus on sustainability and a culture of execution, Tate doesn’t just anticipate the future of critical infrastructure—we’re helping define it.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Director to lead the successful delivery of complex data centre infrastructure projects across the Middle East region.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing full project lifecycles, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight across multiple project locations.

This is a technical, construction-focused project leadership role within data centre infrastructure delivery and is not an IT project management position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of data centre projects from project award through to completion and handover
  • Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution
  • Manage project teams, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders across multiple project locations
  • Ensure projects meet contractual obligations, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations
  • Support commercial and sales teams with technical input and project delivery expertise during bid and tender stages
  • Oversee supply chain planning and forecasting to ensure materials and equipment are available when required
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a senior point of contact throughout project delivery
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and drive effective decision-making
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Drive operational excellence and identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Design, Business, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, customer-facing projects within construction, engineering, or technical environments
  • Strong understanding of project delivery within data centres, MEP, mission-critical infrastructure, industrial, or complex construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, risk, and stakeholder expectations
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations and project phases
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working with contractors, supply chains, and cross-functional project teams
  • Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required

Permanent and full-time employees enjoy a competitive salary, career development opportunities, and the chance to work on high-profile data centre projects within one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

At Tate, you will join a collaborative and innovative environment where leadership, continuous improvement, and professional growth are highly valued.
