Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or commerce field is required or expected.
• Fresh graduate or junior experience in cost control or financial management, ideally in construction/maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, budgeting procedures and EVM (Earned Value Management).
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for modelling and analysis.
• Experience with forecasting, variance analysis, and project cash flow management.
• Knowledge of IFRS15 and related reporting standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and control project budgets with project managers and line manager.
• Participate in regular variance analysis and investigate cost variances.
• Support earned value metrics to forecast projects and report to stakeholders.
• Assist with project cash flow and payments to vendors/subcontractors per contracts.
• Analyze financial statements to identify improvements and optimize margins.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets.
• Collaborate with managers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses for prospective projects and report metrics.
