  • Review and validate supplier invoices, project‑related expenses, and client billings.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.
Project Reporting
  • Develop and maintain standardized project dashboards and reporting packs (P&L, WIP, aging, cash flow).
  • Ensure monthly reporting of project performance, highlighting key deviations and corrective actions.
  • Support Board‑level reporting and presentations with project insights and financial analysis.
Governance & Risk Management
  • Enforce compliance with project related Bill of Authority (BOA) and internal approval processes.
  • Maintain robust documentation for project contracts, guarantees, and change orders.
  • Build and maintain risk registers, ensuring timely escalation of potential delays, overruns, or cash flow issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers to improve forecasting accuracy and resource planning.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Work with the CFO and ERP team to strengthen project‑level forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting through Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and related tools.
  • Champion the use of Monday.com dashboards and other project management systems to improve visibility and standardization.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in project financial management.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering; professional certification (CMA/CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controlling, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or project finance, preferably within construction, engineering, or marine industries.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, cash flow management, and risk controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central) and project management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally, challenge assumptions, and provide actionable insights.
Key Competencies
  • Project management and accounting
  • Strong ownership and accountability.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
  • Able to balance control and governance with flexibility to support project delivery.
  • Team player who can collaborate across finance, operations, and project management.
