2. JOB PURPOSE

To support and deliver public engagement programmes at Manarat Al Saadiyat, designed to inform, inspire, and grow the audience and community for arts and culture in Abu Dhabi.
The role ensures high-quality programming aligned with DCT’s strategy, fostering creative participation, inclusion, and engagement with diverse audiences across exhibitions, workshops, and events.

3. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Programme Engagement Operations
  • Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of Manarat Al Saadiyat’s Public Engagement Programmes that align with DCT’s mission and vision.

  • Support in developing and delivering workshops, residencies, talks, film screenings, and creative activations across all art disciplines.

  • Liaise with artists, speakers, performers, and facilitators to coordinate contracts, schedules, and logistics.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and Communications teams to ensure accurate and timely promotion of programmes.

  • Research and recommend new engagement initiatives that enhance audience participation and reflect regional and international best practices.

  • Collect, analyse, and report on programme data and audience feedback to assess performance and impact.

  • Support event execution including materials preparation, on‑site coordination, and adherence to event standards.

  • Coordinate video documentation and maintain an updated archive of programmes and events.

  • Ensure all programmes comply with DCT policies, branding, and accessibility standards.

Policies, Processes and Procedures
  • Follow all relevant section policies, processes, and procedures to ensure work is conducted efficiently and consistently.

  • Contribute to developing documentation, SOPs, and programme toolkits as required.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Public Engagement, Events, Marketing, Facilities, and other Museum Units).

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners including artists, cultural institutions, schools, and community groups.

  • Facilitate seamless coordination between DCT departments and external collaborators to ensure high‑quality programme delivery.

Day‑to‑Day Operations
  • Execute day‑to‑day activities as directed by the Line Manager to ensure continuous and effective programme operations.

  • Provide timely progress updates, identify risks or challenges, and propose mitigation plans.
