Job summary

Analog is hiring a Program Finance Controller to own financial control across a large delivery programme in Abu Dhabi. You'll partner with delivery leads, the PMO, and finance to keep budgets, forecasts, and invoicing tight, and surface risk early.

You’ll bring experience in budget vs actuals, rolling forecasts, milestone invoicing, and contract billing, with strong Excel and reporting skills. This role reports to the Finance department.

Qualifications

• Experience as a finance controller on a large delivery programme or major project.
• Strong command of budget vs actuals analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Direct experience with milestone-based invoicing and contract billing on complex programmes.
• Comfort managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders with accuracy.
• Accounting or finance qualification or equivalent experience.
• Sharp attention to detail and proactive issue flagging.
• Strong Excel or financial systems skills and clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own budget versus actuals tracking by workstream and maintain a single source of truth for programme financials.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts and explain variances to delivery and finance leadership.
• Track contractual exposure and commitments; flag risk before a variance.
• Prepare monthly and milestone financial reporting packs for programme and client stakeholders.
• Prepare milestone-based invoices and manage the process from draft to client approval and payment.
• Reconcile invoiced amounts against contract terms and milestones; resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with legal and commercial teams on contract terms that affect billing and cash flow.
• Maintain audit-ready records of budgets, invoices, and approvals across the programme.

You will be the person who can say, with confidence, exactly where the programme stands financially at any point, and why. You will work closely with delivery leads, the PMO, and finance to keep budgets, forecasts, and invoicing tight, and to surface risk before it becomes a problem.

What you’ll do Financial Control and Reporting

• Own budget versus actuals tracking by workstream, and maintain a single source of truth for programme financials.
• Build and maintain rolling forecasts, and explain variances to delivery and finance leadership in plain terms.
• Track contractual exposure and commitments across the programme, and flag risk before it becomes a variance.
• Prepare monthly and milestone financial reporting packs for programme and client stakeholders.

Invoicing and Contract Management

• Prepare itemised, milestone based invoices, and manage the process from draft through client approval and payment.
• Reconcile invoiced amounts against contract terms and delivery milestones, and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Work with legal and commercial teams to understand contract terms that affect billing, exposure, and cash flow.
• Maintain audit ready records of budgets, invoices, and approvals across the programme.

What you’ll bring

• Significant experience as a finance controller or senior financial analyst on a large delivery programme or major project.
• Strong command of budget versus actuals analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Direct experience with milestone based invoicing and contract billing on complex programmes.
• Comfort managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders at once, without losing accuracy.
• A qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Sharp attention to detail, and the confidence to flag issues early rather than let them grow.
• Strong Excel or financial systems skills, and clear written reporting.
