Job summary

Pulse Nova in Abu Dhabi seeks a Production Team Lead to direct day-to-day manufacturing in an assigned area, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of production plans. You will lead shop floor teams, coordinate resources, and drive improvements in a regulated defense environment.

You will run daily tier meetings, use visual management, enforce standard work, and coach operators through training and on‑the‑job development to sustain high performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing environments with shopfloor leadership.
• 2+ years leading shift/area teams.
• Strong knowledge of production KPIs (output, schedule adherence, FPY, scrap) and daily management.
• Experience with defect containment and root cause analysis (5-Why, 8D/A3).
• Ability to operate in ramp-up contexts with changing priorities and constraints.
• Excellent communication and coaching for multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production execution for the assigned area, delivering safety, quality and delivery targets.
• Plan staffing: operator allocation, skills matching and workload distribution.
• Run daily tier meetings and visual management, escalate blockers with data and close actions.
• Ensure product quality through standard work, in-process checks, traceability and defect containment.
• Coach operators with on‑the‑job training and liaise with Training/DOJO for onboarding and re-certification.
• Drive CI on the shopfloor (5S, waste removal, defect reduction, process stabilization) and sustain improvements.
• Partner with Maintenance/Engineering to tackle downtime and process issues.
