As our new Production Operator in Paint Manufacturing, you will be responsible for executing operations in the paint production process, including handling raw materials, operating equipment, performing quality checks, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires precision, knowledge of paint manufacturing processes, and a strong commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.

What will your responsibilities include?
Batch Production
  • Activities include RM Receival, RM Preparation, Mixing, Milling and Filling Activities.
  • Ensure activities to be performed in line with the local SOP**.
Material Handling
  • Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring they are stored and handled in compliance with safety standards.
  • Use appropriate PPE and handling equipment for hazardous materials, as required by company protocols.
Equipment Operation
  • Operate manual and semi-automatic machinery, such as mixers, grinders, and filling machines, in line with operating procedures.
  • Adjust machine settings and monitor operations to ensure product consistency and quality.
Quality Control
  • Conduct in-process quality checks as per the product specifications ensuring each batch meets specified standards.
  • Report any deviations to the supervisor and assist with corrective actions.
Safety and Compliance
  • Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, especially for handling flammable and hazardous substances.
  • Adhere to all PPE requirements, including gloves, goggles, masks, uniform and safety footwear to ensure personal and workplace safety.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Record documentation accurately, ensuring traceability of production data for each batch.
Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Perform routine cleaning of equipment and production areas to prevent cross-contamination between batches.
  • Follow procedures for cleaning tanks, mixers, pumps, and other equipment using designated cleaning solvents.
Waste Management
  • Label and dispose of waste materials, including leftover solvents and rejected products, in line with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Document the use of cleaning solvents and maintain records in the Reuse Solvent Register where applicable.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with other operators, quality control staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless production flow and address any operational issues.
  • Communicate effectively to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.

The position is based in our production in Sharjah, and you will be part of a diverse and positive team.
