We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our new innovative company, which manufactures pressure vessels and fully assembled systems for water treatment. You will be ultimately responsible for the setup and smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.

We expect you to have a deep knowledge of production processes. An ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. You will be reporting to:

• Managing Director

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
• Management of the installation and startup of production equipment.
• Hiring, training, and management of production staff.
• Managing the implementation of an efficient ERP solution for manufacturing.
• Creating and executing production schedules.
• Preparation and agreement of budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Implementation of manufacturing best practices.
• Implementation of quality control policies.
• Developing procedures for execution of the production process.
• Overseeing production processes and resolution of any issues.
• Developing and implementing raw material stock management processes.
• Developing and implementing waste management processes.
• Developing and implementing routine maintenance policies for production equipment.
• Analysis of the production process and reporting to the managing director.
• Working closely with the technology manager to implement improvements to the production process.
• Developing a deep technical understanding of production processes.

Requirements

• Relevant university degree such as manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering
• Proven experience as a production manager
• Deep knowledge of production management
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of performance evaluations and budgeting concepts
• Experience in reporting key production metrics
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Hindi is a strong advantage
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
