The Production Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all event and exhibition production activities. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Manager works closely with designers, project managers, suppliers, and on-site teams to transform creative concepts into successful physical experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end production process for events, exhibitions, and activations, from concept development to on-site execution.
- Supervise fabrication, set construction, lighting, audio-visual, staging, and other technical elements.
- Coordinate with design and project management teams to ensure feasibility, functionality, and cost efficiency.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee production schedules, materials, logistics, and manpower allocation.
- Conduct site inspections and technical evaluations prior to event setup.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during production and build-up phases.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure timely delivery of production milestones.
- Lead on-site production teams during installation, event operation, and dismantling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or logistical challenges in real-time.
- Maintain quality control across all deliverables and ensure brand consistency in all executions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Event Management, Production, Engineering, or related field.
- 45 years of experience in event/exhibition production or fabrication management in UAE.
- Strong understanding of event logistics, staging, AV systems, and materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision and technical coordination.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
