Job summary

GMG is seeking a Production Assistant to support the production line in its factories and liaise with food safety. The role involves assisting with production activities, keeping the workstation and production floor clean, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Key tasks include loading and unloading items from machines, feeding items for processing, removing debris, and pulling damaged or ineffective product from the line.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to work in Day & Night shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production line in factories.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris.
• Load and unload items from machines.
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
• Ensure food safety.
• Pull damaged or ineffective product off the line.
• Scrape waste material from machine following waste destruction SOP.
