Job summary

AGMC is seeking an AI Engineer to take ideas from prototype to production, building scalable AI/ML systems and the data architecture behind them. You will work hands-on across software engineering, applied ML, Generative AI and data engineering to deliver practical AI solutions that transform the business.

You will design and deploy end-to-end AI pipelines, optimize models, and integrate AI into existing business apps.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals with clean code, testing and Git.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow in production contexts.
• Experience with Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLMs and RAG implementations.
• Familiarity with LangChain and LlamaIndex for LLM tooling.
• Solid PostgreSQL data architecture and familiarity with vector databases.
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure or GCP) and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize ML/DL models and LLM-powered applications, including Agentic AI and Generative AI.
• Build end-to-end AI pipelines covering training, inference, evaluation and monitoring.
• Develop clean, scalable backend services and APIs using FastAPI/Flask.
• Design data architecture and manage storage, primarily PostgreSQL, with schema design and performance tuning.
• Work with large datasets including preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Develop and integrate AI solutions into existing business applications.
• Monitor models in production and improve accuracy, latency, reliability and scalability.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and move successful solutions to production.
• Collaborate with IT, Digital, Product, Data and business teams to deliver AI use cases.
• Ensure AI solutions follow security, privacy, governance and responsible AI practices.
