Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Security Researcher in Abu Dhabi to support the security evaluation of IT products, firmware, software, and hardware devices. You will perform hands-on cybersecurity testing, identify weaknesses, and contribute to risk-based security assessments.

You will document findings, contribute to methodology development, and work with senior researchers to advance testing practices in a collaborative environment. EDGE values innovation, learning, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 3 years in cybersecurity evaluation, pen testing, vulnerability research, or hardware security testing.
• Hands-on experience with firmware analysis, reverse engineering, fuzzing, cryptographic testing.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and security standards; professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze products, firmware, software, and hardware to identify attack surfaces and risks.
• Perform security testing including vulnerability assessments, firmware analysis, reverse engineering, fuzzing, and cryptographic testing.
• Document findings and test results in clear reports with traceability.
• Support planning, execution, and delivery of security evaluation projects.
• Develop testing methodologies, scripts, and reusable procedures.
• Stay informed on threats, vulnerabilities, and research trends relevant to product security testing.
