Job summary

Ekthar in Abu Dhabi is seeking a UX/UI designer to craft intuitive interfaces for enterprise AI products, collaborating with Product Management and ML Engineering to translate complex workflows into seamless experiences.

The ideal candidate blends strong visual design with user experience, design systems, accessibility, and bilingual interface design, delivering responsive, accessible interfaces for web, desktop, and console applications, with a focus on English and Arabic layouts.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UX/UI design for complex web, desktop, or technical applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component-based design systems.
• Excellent understanding of typography, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and modern UI design principles.
• Proven experience or strong capability in designing bilingual interfaces supporting Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR).
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design clean, minimalist, and user-centered interfaces for web, desktop, and physical console applications.
• Develop, maintain, and scale component-based design systems using Figma.
• Translate complex AI workflows, data pipelines, and technical processes into intuitive user experiences.
• Design responsive and interactive interfaces for streaming AI responses, model training visualizations, and complex file views.
• Create seamless bilingual interfaces supporting English (LTR) and Arabic (RTL) layouts.
• Design Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) interactions, including verification workflows, confidence indicators, exception approvals, and override controls.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and ML Engineers to align design solutions with technical capabilities and user needs.
• Conduct user-flow testing and refine interfaces to improve usability and reduce operational complexity.
• Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and interaction patterns across products.
