Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking a Procurement Assistant/Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and procurement operations in a dynamic environment.

You will help ensure timely procurement of products and services, maintain strong supplier relationships, and keep accurate purchasing records while collaborating with Finance, Operations, Inventory, and other teams. This role offers hands-on experience and growth within procurement and supply chain functions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply-chain processes.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement, or inventory-management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and supplier-management abilities.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail when handling orders, pricing, and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and purchasing activities across assigned categories.
• Research potential suppliers, products, pricing, and market options.
• Request, collect, and compare supplier quotations.
• Prepare purchase orders, procurement documents, and approval requests.
• Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders from placement through final delivery.
• Maintain accurate supplier, contract, pricing, and purchasing records.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, evaluations, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Inventory, and other internal teams.
• Track procurement spending and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve purchasing, delivery, invoice, and supplier-related issues.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend summaries, and performance updates.
• Ensure purchasing activities follow internal policies and approval procedures.
